![]() ![]() When picking out hand soaps, it’s common to see the word “antibacterial” on just about all of the different products. Anyway I'm using the deodorant from Van Man now and it's been great so far.Best Antibacterial Body Soaps & Body Washes I'm disappointed because I really loved this brand and I don't know if they changed the formula or if my body changed. I had an itchy, spreading rash by the next day and it took about 5 days to stop itching. ![]() Last week I got to work and could tell I'd forgotten deodorant so I grabbed the Lume that was still in my drawer thinking I would be fine if I just used it once real quick. I finally stopped Lume and eventually it cleared up. ![]() I changed soap, laundry detergent, anything. The stupid thing is I kept using the Lume because I'd used it so long that I thought it must be something else causing it. I was using prescriptions strength butt itch cream and that helped. This past summer I developed severe rashes in my armpits that spread out to part of my arms and back. I started using it probably 3 years ago and it was great. I just found this discussion when searching to see if anyone else had developed a rash from Lume. My order number was S1191209 and I’d like to figure out what can be done to make up for everything your product has caused me. I’m finally reaching out because I have yet to find any cheaper alternatives or a way to reverse what your product caused after years of searching. I have to spend way more money on the clinical strength deodorant too since literally everything out there will put me in agony for days. Every single one has resulted it pain and an increased odor. I have tried old ones that never gave me rashes in the past and new ones I had never tried. From then on, I have developed rashes with every deodorant I try (except for Secret’s clinical strength, scentless, gel deodorant) These rashes include: my underarm skin cracking causing open wounds, fire truck red pigmentation, raised and textured bumps, pain any time I lower my arms, distracting itchiness (to the point where I can’t focus on hardly anything else), and excessive sweating that further exacerbates all other symptoms mentioned. I had never experienced anything like that before. ![]() After about a month of using the Lumē unscented stick, I developed really horrible rashes under my armpits that lasted weeks. I was really excited to try them out because I’ve always had a really difficult time with armpit smell. “On May 3rd, 2020, I bought two sticks of Lumē deodorant: the I scented and lavender sage. I know your post is from a while ago, but here’s a message I sent to Lumē customer service where they basically said that I applied their product wrong and completely ignored the fact that their product permanently altered how my body reacts to deodorant: Water, Mandelic Acid, Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder, Tapioca Starch, Isoamyl Laurate, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Caffeine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Behenyl Alcohol, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Naturally Derived Fragrance*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Tocopherol, Allantoin, Panthenol, Stearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Glucoside, Pentylene Glycol, Phenylpropanol, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Benzoate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate. In fact here is the ingredients to their cream products: They have cream deodorants as well but I didn't react to them as bad. That's what is in the particular product I used from them. Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Ozokerite, Stearyl Alcohol, Isododecane, Isopentyldiol, Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder, Lauryl Laurate, Mandelic Acid, Sorbitan Oleate, Naturally Derived Fragrance*, Silica, Panthenol, Caffeine, Ethylhexylglycerin Sorry I didn't get a notification for your reply. ![]()
